Kambô

Kambô is named after the poisonous secretions of the giant monkey frog, or Phyllomedusa bicolor. Due to the presence of nine extremely powerful bio-active peptides Kambô is one of the most potent, natural, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, antimicrobial and anesthetic 'earth medicines' found in the world. In its original, natural form, Kambô is an efficient, holistic treatment that works on mind, body, energy, and spirit and is a potent force for life transformation. Kambô is not a psychedelic.

Research

How does it work to help the body?

The indigenous tribes use Kambo for many reasons. Physically it is used to fight disease and illness, as a remedy for snake and other venomous bites, to heal fevers and to increase fertility. It is also used before a hunt by the tribesmen to sharpen the senses and increase physical prowess.

Spiritually it is used to remove ‘panema’, which the tribes define as dark, heavy or negative energies that can present as sickness, depression, and a clouded mind. By removing ‘panema’, a person is free to live an abundant life full of good fortune, vitality and to stay in peak physical and mental condition.

  • During a treatment, kamboÌ‚ immediately scans a person’s energy field and starts to work exactly where it is needed.

  • The process is different for everyone and the course of treatment should be planned accordingly.

  • For people with addictions, results can also happen fast. Complicated cases may take longer.

  • We may call this frog secretion a medicine, but it doesn’t actually work as a typical medicine nor as a drug. It simply wakes up the body’s organs, endocrine system and defense systems to their natural functions.

Scientific research on the secretion of this frog started in the 1980’s. Nominated for the Nobel prize, Italian scientist, Vittorio Erspamer, of the University of Rome wrote that this secretion contains a ‘fantastic chemical cocktail with potential medical applications, unequaled by any other amphibian’.

So far, researchers have found nine bio- active peptides that have a potent effect on the gastrointestinal muscles, gastric and pancreatic secretions, blood circulation, and on the stimulation of the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland.

Among the several dozen peptides found in kamboÌ‚, up to 7% are bio-active.’ They bind with receptor sites situated in the brain, triggering chemical reactions in the human body.

  • Phyllomedusin strongly affects intestines, bowels and contributes to deep purging.

  • Phyllokinin and phyllomedusin are potent vessel dilators, increasing the permeability of the blood-brain barrier. This facilitates access to the brain of these two, as well as the other active peptides.

  • Caerulein and sauvagine cause a fall in blood pressure accompanied by tachycardia. They stimulate the adrenal cortex and the pituitary gland, contributing to heightened sensory perception and increased stamina. Both of these peptides have a strong analgesic effect, enhance endurance, increase physical strength and in general, enhance the capacity to face pain and stressful situations. They possess medical potential as digestive aids, and have demonstrated analgesic effects for those with renal colic, pain due to peripheral vascular insufficiency and cancer pain.

  • Dermorphin and deltorphin are potent opioid peptides 4000 times stronger than morphine and 40 times stronger than endogenic b-endorphines.

The properties of kamboÌ‚ peptides cover a wide range of potential medical uses:

  • Treatment of brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s,

  • Depression, migraines, blood circulation problems, vascular insufficiency

  • Organ diseases

  • Skin and eye issues

  • Fertility problems in women and men

  • AIDs, hepatitis

  • Cancer and much more

  • Other interesting medicinal properties of this secretion are its anti-inflammatory effects

  • The capacity to destroy microbes and viruses and heal infections

According to the indigenous people, kamboÌ‚ is first and foremost a Spirit of the forest who is to be treated with respect.

When combined with the water that is drunk before the treatment, an alchemical transformation happens and old toxins are released through vomiting or urgent defecation. This cleansing process works not only on a physical level but also on a spiritual one. The frog, connecting us with our natural wisdom, mirrors our negative habits, showing us what we should avoid and what we could do in order to improve our condition.

During the kambô treatments, we may receive insights and messages.

The Human Biofield

Human Energy Fields Image.jpg

Well-being is dictated by the integrity of our energy body. Dis-ease on the physical level begins in the energy body. Past pains, traumas, and programming becomes imprinted in our fields and can be healed and released.

The human energy field is an aura of etheric energy that surrounds and overlays our physical selves and interacts with our mind body and spirit.

All physical matter has an Aura. For human beings, this field is sometimes called Human Energy Field, Subtle Energy Body or Human Biofield. These different “biofields” regulate various emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical functions and correspond to various parts of the subtle body, connecting us to the outside world.

The layers of the auric field, and according to the twelve-chakra system.

Physical field: Lowest in frequency. Regulates the human body.
Etheric field: Blueprint for the physical structure that it surrounds. There is also an etheric human energy field for the soul.
Emotional field: Regulates the emotional state of the organism.
Mental field: Processes ideas, thoughts, and beliefs.
Astral field: A nexus between the physical and spiritual realms. Free of time and space.
Etheric template: Exists only on the spiritual plane and holds the highest ideals for existence.
Celestial field: Accesses universal energies and serves as a template for the etheric fields.
Causal field: Directs lower levels of existence.
